It was created by two firms that spent years on opposite sides of the same problem, one structuring the deals, the other building the technology, and decided the continent needed both in a single system.
Why STRATUM exists
The intelligence has never matched the endowment.
Africa holds the world's most consequential mineral endowment, yet the intelligence around it has never matched its value. Diligence lives in scattered paperwork. Claims travel faster than proof. Operators who deserve capital cannot be seen, and investors who hold capital cannot see them safely.

OGZ Ventures began operating in 2009 from Nigeria, executing transaction advisory and capital structuring mandates across Africa. In February 2024 the firm incorporated in the United Kingdom to deepen engagement with institutional and sovereign capital partners, and today operates across West Africa and the UK through aligned entities under common leadership.
Its record spans nationwide brand mandates for leading telecommunications companies, investment mobilisation with the Nigeria and São Tomé and Príncipe Joint Development Authority, cross-border structuring with international financiers, and early work on tokenised access to African assets. OGZ brings to STRATUM the disciplines that govern every mandate it executes: precision, integrity, discretion, and impact.

Tech Bros Africa is a technology and innovation company focused on intelligent digital systems, AI-powered products, and scalable infrastructure for emerging markets and global applications. Its capabilities span the full technology lifecycle: artificial intelligence and machine learning, geospatial and spatial intelligence, data architecture, platform engineering, automation, and product design.
